Bridge to Success

Joining us today from the Rotary Club of Edmonds, were Maggie Peterson, Lamin Manneh, and Randy Hutchins (all shown above) to talk about the "Bridge to Success," a project focused on building a 3 bedroom classroom science lag in the Village of Wassu, in the Niani District on the North Bank of the Gambia River.  This project started with the help of a District 5030 district grant to meet and get the support of key government officials in Gambia and finalize the location selection for a new science lab that will allows students in a highly impoverished area  to specialize in science and then have the opportunity to go to college.  These three presenters exemplify Rotary's commitment to service!  For more on the project, click here
