Bridge to Success
Joining us today from the Rotary Club of Edmonds, were Maggie Peterson, Lamin Manneh, and Randy Hutchins (all shown above) to talk about the "Bridge to Success," a project focused on building a 3 bedroom classroom science lag in the Village of Wassu, in the Niani District on the North Bank of the Gambia River. This project started with the help of a District 5030 district grant to meet and get the support of key government officials in Gambia and finalize the location selection for a new science lab that will allows students in a highly impoverished area to specialize in science and then have the opportunity to go to college.
