January - Rotary Vocational Service Month

District 5030 Vocational Services Chair

In recognition of Vocational Service Month, speaking to us at our January 18th meeting was our District 5030 Chairperson for Vocational Services, Chris Boland.  Chris shared with us the history of vocational service and the important role it played in Rotary's founding.  Chris emphasized the fact that focusing on the importance of supporting other member's vocations is critical to attracting and retaining members.  Vocational Service is one of the Five Avenues of Rotary.  And each avenue has one important thing in common...."service"!
