Lance Balla
Lance earned by BA in English literature with a minor in French at The University of California at San Diego, Masters in Education from Seattle university and a Masters in Administration from the University of Washington. Lance has  been in education for 27 years as a teacher at Snohomish High School and at Bellevue High School. He then served as the K-12 Director of Literacy in Bellevue. During that time and  also authored the textbook Advanced Language & Literature (Bedford St. Martins Press), and was the author for several different College Board publications. He was a consultant for the College Board for 14 years, working in their AP and College Readiness division. He then went into administration as an Assistant Principal at Newport High School in Bellevue for two years, followed by serving as the principal at Everett High School and he is now serving as the principal at Jackson High School. Lance has two grown sons, Keir and Kellen. Keir is a professor and Doctor Of Immunology at The University of Utah. His younger son, Kellen, is an audio and video engineer for Biz Media in San Francisco, where he is a producer of One-Punch Man (Manga character). Lance lives in Seattle with his partner, Charise, and two insane dogs, Sammy and Abigail.
