The Rotary Club of Mill Creek was established in 1986. During that time, the Mill Creek club has established itself as one of the leaders within the greater Seattle area with its participations in over 65 separate international projects and with hundreds of local community projects.
In 1992 we coordinated a grant with MIND Prosthetic Lib Co. and received a grant for $220,000 to establish clinics in Thailand for prosthetics of land mine victims. We raised funds that were matched and now over 4,000 needy people have wheelchairs. We have sponsored Dentists, Doctors, Podiatrists, and Audiologists and delivered medical supplies, food, shelter, immunizations, educational material for the children and families of the world.
Even during the covid-19 pandemic we provided surgical masks for first responders, clothing for Mill Creek students in need and have provided over $140,000 in food and cash donations to the Mill Creek Community Food Bank.
